What is your expectation for 2011 cars? This is a hard question, especially for cars manufacturers. It’s a hard competition between the cars manufacturers, to build greenest cars and also cheap cars. This is hard, but not impossible, because more and more cars manufacturers announce green projects, but the price it’s still high.

The crisis from 2008-2009, pushed the cars manufacturers to design and introduce in production green cars. Because to produce greenest cars is not too easy, we expect that in 2011 the manufacturers start to produce more and more green cars, and in this article you can find which are the cars from 2011.

It’s true? Yes, is true that the new SLS AMG will be available on the market start with 2011. This is a super sports car, a car build from a mix of purist styling, consistent lightweight design and superior driving dynamics. To reduce the weight of the car, the designers build the body from aluminum. The doors are especially designed, and it opened like gullwing doors.

Into an old article, we say that the BMW will release in 2010 a new BMW 5 Series, but they don’t stop here, will release another BMW 5 Series in 2011. 2011 Honda CR-Z

First time this car appears at 2009 Tokyo Motor Show as a concept car, and now we present this car that will be released in 2011. Designed as a spiritual successor to the original Honda CRX, the production version of the CR-Z is expected to be powered by a compact four-cylinder engine displacing less than 2.0-liters and matched to an electric motor. The combined output for the car should be close to 140-horsepower, with drive sent to the front wheels via a CVT.

Fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission and sport-tuned suspension, the upcoming CR-Z certainly will be engaging for the driver, the first hybrid sports coupe on the market.

2011 Lexus LFA

Lexus will release another exclusive supercar – the 2011 Lexus LFA. Chief Engineer Haruhiko Tanahashi said “The LFA is a thoroughbred supercar, a machine engineered to achieve a single goal – to deliver a supreme driving experience.” The car is a blend of extreme engineering and exquisite craftsmanship, top-notch performance and easy accessibility, uncompromising driver involvement and total control.

The Lexus LFA is powered by a naturally aspirated V10 displacing 4.8 litre, matched to a rear-mounted six-speed sequential automatic transmission, giving 200mph-plus performance. From the outset it was determined the engine should have a 4,805cc capacity, develop 552bhp and rev to a wailing 9,000rpm red line. The V10 produces 480Nm of torque at 6,800rpm, 90 per cent of which is available from 3,700rpm all the way to the 9,000rpm red line, thanks to Dual VVT-i technology, equal length exhaust manifolds and high-volume, 12-hole fuel injectors. This gives searing in-hear acceleration at all engine speeds and in any gear: nought to 62mph takes just 3.7 seconds and maximum speed is 202mph.

The 2011 Ford Fiesta is based on Ford’s new Verve concept that was unveiled at the North American International Auto Show. Ford’s compact cars are extremely popular in Europe, and European cars are popular in the U.S., so, Ford has put two and two together to create a European-styled car that offers superior technology, design, and fuel efficiency.

The new Fiesta’s ride is butter-smooth, its turn-in ability is effortless and with sufficient feel that a driver stays connected, and its quiet cabin makes the internal fan sound loud.

Although it’s not yet clear which engines will go into production for the U.S. market, the Euro models are strong on economy. The 115-hp, 1.6-liter engine, for example, is good for 120 mph, 0 to 62 mph in 9.9 seconds and about 40 mpg.

The transmission will come in either five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. The interior of the Fiesta will be reminiscent of a cell phone with integrated lighting, LCD screen controls, and a myriad of features generally reserved for more expensive autos.
