Where we are with the phones and where are we going? The phones technology brings us closer to TV, but this is not all the next technology on phones. The next generation mobile phones will have 5GHz processors, 10GB-20GB of memory, and will seamlessly move from one network to another, whether the network uses cellular, mobile WiMAX or other technologies, and these predictions are simply extensions of what current generation mobiles already offer.

One of the men’s who make predictions of phones future is Lee, who is vice president of Samsung’s Next-Generation Terminals Team, and according to Lee, future handsets could come with flexible holographic displays, with their cameras capable of taking 3D holographic images. Lee predicts all this should come to pass by 2010.

For examples Samsung will be releasing a mobile phone that can switch seamlessly between Mobile WiMAX and GSM next year, while Nokia and others already offer phones that switch between WiFi and GSM. 10GB flash memory is inevitable and will surely make its way onto mobile phones before 2010.

Some phones companies announce the phones for next year  earlier, and here are phones who will be released in 2010.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 will appear in January 2010, and will be the first Sony Ericsson Android Phone, the phone will use Google Android. Like HTC, Sony Ericsson will customize your Android with its own interface.

It looks amazing: 4-inch 800 x 400-pixel touchscreen, 8MP camera with LED flash, VGA video recording, and the yummylicious Rachael user interface. You can use the phone like a GPS gadget, and for this you will have AGPS technology. Assisted GPS, generally abbreviated as A-GPS, is a carrier network dependent system which can, under certain conditions, improve the startup performance of a GPS satellite-based positioning system.
