Do you like BMW cars? The answer for this questions can be a rhetorically answer: who don’t like BMW cars!! The BMW is the most successful premium manufacturer in the automotive industry. One of the fundamental prerequisites for this success was and is ongoing leadership and innovation in the construction of cars perceived and acknowledged as leaders by the customer. Innovation upgrades the product in its substance, and only attractive product substance can secure the long-term success of a company in sales.
Every year the BMW build a new version of his cars, and in this article you can find the BMW cars from 2010.
2010 BMW 1 Series
For BMW 1 Series, BMW has announced that has released two more powerplants with an EU5 emission rating namely the 120i Coupe and 118d Coupe. The 120i Coupe have an 2.0L engine with four-cylinder, and the power of the engine is 125kW (170hp) with 210Nm which it attains at 4250rpm. The car has a fuel consumption in the test around 6.6 liters/ 100 Kilometers and the CO2 emission is 153 grams/kilometer.

BMW 118d Coupe is the most efficient car of its kind. The 2 liters diesel engine produce 105 kW(143 hp) at 4,000 rpm and the maximum torque of 300Nm between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm.

These two new models of BMW 1 Series comes in two models: Lifestyle and Sport, and offer RWD performance in a three- or five-door package. The Lifestyle Edition exudes stylish extravagance both on the exterior and in the interior of the BMW 1er, highlighted by body paintwork in exclusive Marrakesh Brown Metallic including additional components in body colour and chrome-plated tailpipes as well as exclusive light-alloy rims in five-spoke design. All models come with 17-inch wheels.

Th Sports Edition comes with M badges throughout the cabin, in the footrest, the sports steering wheel and the fear handle. It sits atop 17-inch alloy wheels as well as all other models except the 130i and 123d which both come with Ferric Grey 18-inch wheels. Included in the list of options for the interior is the latest iDrive system equipped with an 800×480 pixel monitor with a CD player and available navigation system.
2010 BMW 3 Series
After BMW launched the facelift for both 3-Series sedan and estate versions some months ago, the German manufacturer is now readying the makeover for the coupe flavor. Those modifications for the facelifted 3-series convertible/cabriolet include, of course, the new front bumper as well as a fresh set of headlamps, LED lights at the rear and a new rear bumper too.
The interior will get a new look as well, with improved trim, a new center armrest and a second-generation iDrive system with four selector buttons for commonly used features such as the stereo. The iDrive system will also sport a new 8.8 inch LCD display and an optional 80 Gb hard drive music and navigation system.

The current 3-Series Coupe is offered in a choice of seven engines, starting with the 320i and 320d and ending with the 335d and 335i. The 335i configuration for instance produces a maximum power of 306 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, while helping the car jump from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. The maximum speed is rated at 155.3 mph (250 km/h) while fuel consumption reaches 17.8 mpg (13.2 L/100Km) in city and 35.1 mpg (6.7 L/100Km) in highway conditions.

2010 BMW 5 Series
The new BMW 5-series will feature Concept CS-inspired looks, BMW’s acclaimed Efficient Dynamics technology and Munich’s latest raft of high-tech gizmos designed to blitz the opposition. The 5-series will also spawn the Progressive Activity Sedan, BMW’s very strange quasi-MPV.

The front view of the car animates powerful dynamism through the sheer presence of the upright BMW kidney grille, large air intakes and dual round headlights slanted back at an attractive angle. For the first time the daytime driving light function is provided by corona rings with LED technology. Boasting clear-cut horizontal lines, the rear end comes with that characteristic look of width, power and muscle further enhanced by L-shaped rear light clusters with homogeneously illuminated rows of lights in LED technology.

Several existing technologies will feature in the 5 Series, including further improved iDrive, FlexRay processing, the electro-magnetic handbrake, HUD, as well as Active Steering. Bigger, wider and longer than current 5, new car grows in size but not by much. BMW’s new double-clutch M-DCT gearbox with 7 speeds is part of the package. Currently the ‘box can handle close to 600Nm in torque.

The new 4.4L twin-turbo V8 from the recently revealed X6 is expected to appear in a range topping model, while more turbo-diesel variants are expected to join the lineup as well. BMW is currently developing its second generation common rail system for its diesel powerplants, which will operate at greater pressure for improved performance.
2010 BMW 6 Series
The 6-Series may not be the most dynamic performer in its class, but it is a high-end luxury cruiser worthy of your attention. The next generation of the vehicle will be offered in three versions: coupe, cabrio and a sports GT. The new model will feature a longer and sleeker design than the current car.

Three engines options will give customers a choice between 306, 408, and 507 horsepower, the report claims. The 306 hp model will make use of BMW’s new twin-turbo inline-six found in the 335i.

The Dynamic Driving Control system is standard, with which the driver can change the behavior of a number of controls, including the throttle, transmission and steering feel. Active Roll Stabilization, which aids in flat cornering, is also standard and vehicle speed-sensitive steering is also standard. An Active Steering system, which varies the steering ratio according to speed and other conditions, is optional.
2010 BMW 7 Series
Conventional 7-Series models include the 750i and 750Li, each with rear-wheel drive. New for 2010 are the AWD 750i xDrive and 750Li xDrive. Based on the regular 7-Series luxury sedan, the High Security models are fitted with specific chassis components that are adapted to the increase in weight due to their armor plating.

7-Series will grow in almost all dimensions and it is reported that it will offer–in addition to its usual extensive selection of I6, V8, and V12 engine choices–a gas/electric hybrid option.

The new power unit delivers maximum output of 225 kW/306 hp and peak torque of 600 Nm/442 lb-ft maintained consistently between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm. This gives the BMW 740d a level of performance so far only provided by far larger power units, now combined with the superior economy typical of a BMW straight-six diesel. The BMW 740d accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and is limited electronically in its top speed to 250 km/h or 155 mph.

In the BMW 750i xDrive and the BMW 750Li xDrive this permanent, electronically controlled all-wheel drive ensures appropriate distribution of the power of 300 kW/407 hp generated by the V8 with its BMW TwinPower Turbo Technology, thus catering for all demands in every situation.
2010 BMW X5 M
The new 2010 BMW X5 M is a new endeavor for the BMW Motorsport family that incorporates for the first time, a forced induction engine. As part of a so-called initiative to be more efficient, BMW has brought forced induction back into its driving machines starting with the 335’s inline 6 cylinder and now the infamous 4.4 liter V8 has been reworked to include twin turbos giving the new X5M and X6M 555hp and 500 ft-lbs of torque.

The new rendering shows a completely revised front-end design for the X5 M, with an aggressively styled front bumper, much larger intakes and new side ports. Attached wheel-arch extenders previewed in this rendering suggest the vehicle could also feature a widened track.

The inside of the new X5 M is very spacious as you would expect any X5 to be.

2010 BMW X6 M
The brand new 2010 BMW X6 M, the high-performance version of the X6, is even more of an oddity in the automotive world. BMW M Division’s first ever attempt on an SUV / Crossover as well as, on an all-wheel drive model, is powered by a new 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that churns a swaggering 550HP. Even more essential for a car of this weight (just over 5100 pounds), the M motor offers 501 pound-feet of torque from 1500 to 5650 rpm.

The transmission is a 6-speed automatic with three shift modes: drive, sport and manual. Both the sport and manual shift modes proved less than fully satisfying during the track session. In sport mode, automatic upshifts seemed to happen at inopportune times; in manual mode, the BMW was reluctant to shift down into second at the aforementioned turn 10A.

On the outside, BMW’s M division treated the X6M with a sportier bodykit that includes new bumpers, side air-vents or if you prefer, gills, five-spoke alloy wheels and a set of quad exhaust tail pipes.

2010 BMW Z2 Roadster
BMW preparing another iteration of their affordable open air roadster, the Bavarian version of the Z car, that competes head to head with the world’s best selling drop top, the Mazda MX-5. The BMW Z2 will come only in a four cylinder and will have a horsepower range between 150 up to a turbocharged 300. The car is also expected to come in a 2.0 four-cylinder M version.

Transmission choices on the BMW Z2 will include a traditional manual and a double-clutch gearbox similar to Audi DSG. The BMW Z2 will go on sale in 2010 and will be made in America.

BMW Z2 Roadster looks great, and I think that will have a big success! Also the new M series from X5 and X6 will have a big success like the other M series
BMW 6 Series looks more than great, it’s the best car for me
Very nice cars. 328i has been my (realistic) dream car since I was young.
BMW will introduce the four-cylinder diesel to the U.S. lineup now that tougher fuel economy standards have been imposed. http://green.autoblog.com/2009/11/11/bmws-baloga-confirms-four-cylinder-diesels-for-u-s-market/
